Is Comparison blocking your blessings?

Updated: 2 days ago

This blog is a safe space for healing, not just for my readers, but also for myself. After all, God is the Author and Finisher, and I trust that I am doing His work. It's all about unlocking one's "true" self.

It's amazing how God speaks to us in unexpected ways. His teachings are engraved in my heart, and I am confident that my writing will help many more people in the future. I know that my words will always be a source of hope and comfort for those seeking them.

Galantian 6:4 says ”But let every man prove his work, and then shall he have to rejoice in himself alone, and not in another.“

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the glamorous photos and videos of influencers on Instagram, who seem to be living their best life effortlessly? You may be wondering why them and not me.

It's easy to start feeling envious and wondering how you can achieve the same level of success. However, it's important to remember that your journey is unique and cannot be compared to others. I'm not here to judge or criticize anyone so don't @ me. Everyone has their path, and it's okay if it doesn't look like someone else's. Comparing yourself to others can be detrimental to your mental health and prevent you from fulfilling your true purpose in life.

The Bible warns against idolatry, and while we may not worship golden statues anymore, we can still fall into the trap of idolizing others. When we focus too much on other people's success, we lose sight of our own goals and dreams.

So, if you ever find yourself feeling down because you don't have the same lifestyle as someone else, remember that you are on your journey. Embrace your uniqueness, and trust that you will achieve your version of success in due time.
